The CDC lifted COVID isolation guidelines for those who test positive for COVID. In collaboration with the Local Health Department, instead of the strict 5-day isolation period, individuals who have COVID should stay home until they have been fever-free without medication and symptoms have been improving for at least 24 hours."Additional precautions are recommended for the next five days such as: limiting close contact to others, masking, washing hands with soap and water (or using hand sanitizer when water is unavailable), and covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
