St. Bartholomew Academy (SBA) is a Catholic elementary school with grades pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. The school was founded in 1950 in response to a need to provide a Catholic education for the children of the newly established parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle.
In 2000, SBA was accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools and is listed in their Directory of Accredited Schools (DOAS). In 2010 and 2017, the Academy earned re-accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools. Today the school has approximately 230 students and is a thriving educational institution dedicated to academic excellence in a value-forming environment.
